Cops for Cancer riders arrived at Shawnigan Lake School to glistening sunshine and a gauntlet of support.
Students and staff, wearing their new 'Remember' T-shirts and clutching homemade signs, greeted the Tour for a Wednesday morning event that included more head shaving and the presentation of a cheque for $26,000.
A record number of Shawnigan students have embraced the cause this year, including all of Duxbury House as well as numerous members of staff.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
