A new member of the Shawnigan family is on his way back to Chile after a two-month stay.
Luciano E. said farewell to the Shawnigan community on Tuesday morning, thanking the Headmaster, Mr. Rhodri Samuel, and the boys of Duxbury House for hosting him.
"I couldn't have asked for a better experience," Luciano said, "and I'm incredibly grateful for all the memories and friendships."
Luciano came to Shawnigan after his own family had helped host Shawnigan's Edouard R. on his Chilean exchange earlier in the year.
Shawnigan currently has two students on exchange in Australia, with Chloe S. at St Margaret's in Brisbane and Karsten L. at Canberra Grammar School. Two boys and two girls will visit from Australia later this year.
Any students interested in international exchanges are encouraged to speak to Mr. Samuel.
