Comparative Government trip

A visit to the BC Legislature

The AP Comparative Government and Politics class travelled to the BC Legislature on Friday afternoon to meet with the newly elected MLA for Cowichan, Sonia Furstenau.

Students had the opportunity to discuss and learn how the BC Green Party will be the new power brokers in the upcoming Legislative session.

Coincidentally, students also had the opportunity to gain a historical perspective on the exciting election results with the timeless Amor de Cosmos and Mary Ellen Smith.

Learning about government and politics does not get much more exciting than this!
