The girls of Renfrew began their Chapel presentation with an exuberant singing of their House hymn, "Joyful, Joyful." Indeed, the rest of the service continued in the same joyful manner, as the girls spoke about their theme: belonging.
Head of House, Holly H., described Renfrew as a unique, loving community in her opening speech. Four grade 12s, who once belonged to Renfrew North and Renfrew South as grade 8 students, then described how reaching a state of unity and belonging had been a great challenge.
After four years of being united as one House, the girls agreed that they absolutely belong together. "We are the last four – the four that belonged to the North and the South, but now we belong to just Renfrew."
