Grad Gala and Ball

Celebration in Whistler

The Centennial Graduation Banquet and Ball at the Chateau Whistler was an especially memorable event.

The graduates of 2016 had much to celebrate with their families and, as the evening unfolded, guests were mesmerized by the wonderful speeches and entertainment. The big surprise this year was a musical and dance performance prepared in secret by the graduates. After toasts to the Queen and the parents by this year's Head and Deputy Head of School, Noah C. and Tai W., Noah's mother took the stage and delivered an emotional address that served as a thank you to the School. The graduates were treated to an address by Jay Connolly and musical performances by many of the School's most talented grade 12s. A slideshow ran throughout the evening and a special video that included messages from the graduates created by Harrison A. beautifully concluded the formal part of the evening.

To end a perfect night, the traditional parent-and-child dance took place, before everyone let loose and enjoyed the great hits from the dance band, The Timebenders.
