The girls from Strathcona Lodge School House presented a timely message to the School on Saturday.
As the first house to take on a student-led chapel this year, Strathcona opened the service by singing Everywhere you look by Jesse Frederick.
Head of House Jaki D. used her time at the podium to encourage the student body to give in a variety of ways, from giving up privacy, to giving random acts of kindness, giving gifts over the holidays, to simply giving back. "Raise your standard of giving," Jaki urged her peers, "and be the change."
Carl S. joined Maia C., Drew G., Kalli K. and Nicole S. for a performance of Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror.
"This was a really good message, and particularly appropriate for this time of year," Headmaster David Robertson said as the service concluded.
