Day 8: Monday, July 23

Kinsol Trestle Bridge
On Monday, the group walked to the historic Kinsol Trestle Bridge, located just north of Shawnigan Lake. This spectacular wooden railway trestle was completed in 1920 and measures 44 m high and 188 m long, making it one of the highest railway trestles in the world.
The variety of activities continued in the afternoon, with students shooting water balloons from a slingshot with science teacher Mr. Fehr, learning dance moves from performance arts teacher Mrs. McLeod, and engaging in lots of fun physical activity with Coach Laura Russell, including an obstacle course and a slip and slide.
