A Shawnigan sensation reached new heights on Wednesday, with Inter-house Air band 2018.
The growing tradition saw hundreds of students take the stage to perform complex choreography, creative mixes, and impressive aerial manoeuvres.
The competition required a range of contributions, from prop and costume design to audio recording and mixing to choreography to performance – with a jam-packed Hugh Wilkinson Theatre exuding energy from 15 minutes before showtime until well after the final act.
A time-travelling odyssey from Kaye's House earned the overall victory, while an acrobatic performance from Ripley's House earned top marks in the boys' competition.
Shawnigan Lake School is a co-educational boarding school on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. The school is home to nationally-ranked academics, arts and athletics, with 100 per cent of graduates accepted to university.
