A school trip to Tofino has given a group of Shawnigan students an authentic West Coast experience.
21 students ventured to Vancouver Island's West Coast over the weekend for one of the School's new favourite midterm getaways.
For six days, the group enjoyed a number of outdoor adventures including surfing and stand-up paddleboard lessons. They also journeyed into Clayoquot Sound by boat, spotting bears and even a pack of wild wolves.
It being a holiday weekend, participants also had time to relax on the beaches of Pacific Rim National Park and to enjoy the sights and tastes of Tofino.
