Weekend intra-house events
Instead of our usual annual Track and Field meet, Saturday saw House Colours compete against each other safely in residential cohorts during the intra-house event. The Athletic instructors and House Directors set up various games (designed to promote inclusion and team-building), and students were happy to gather on the field hockey, soccer and rugby pitches for a full afternoon of fun.
Students agreed that is was a great day of House bonding. The games were followed up by a delicious dinner served in-house and even more evening activities aimed at getting to know one another better.
Staff members reported that seeing the action fill our grounds and the beautiful sounds of cheering and laughter was a wonderful relief after six months of stillness.
