This past Friday, after a week of exams, Shawnigan students enjoyed a day of health and wellness. Students had an opportunity to participate in a number of relaxing and exciting activities. Health and Wellness Day activities included mono printing, pottery, marimba, yoga, jazz dance, hip hop jazzercise, drumming and a Tough Mudder challenge. Students also welcomed Dr. Philip Michael Zeman to campus, who spoke to students about Resilience and Risk Taking.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
