This past weekend, Shawnigan played host to the final round of the new Super Series for senior boys rugby.
There were five 1st XV matches, including Southridge defeating Glenlyon Norfolk, Rockridge winning over Brentwood College, Lord Tweedsmuir far too strong for Cowichan, and Claremont over Lord Byng. The feature match of the day saw Shawnigan playing against a strong Earl Marriott side from White Rock.
It was a very physical encounter with some exciting play from both teams. Shawnigan came away with the win, but credit must be given to the visiting Mariners for their attacking style of play. Well done to all ten teams that participated in this great day of rugby.
