Fishing in Tahsis

A coastal fly-fishing pilgrimmage

The river was low, but there were plenty of fish.

Four Shawnigan students are back from Vancouver Island's West Coast, after a weekend of fly-fishing around Tahsis, B.C.

Accompanied by Mr. J.J. Receveaux, the group caught enormous Chinook as well as Chum salmon. They also saw local sights including the Three Sisters Waterfalls and the President's Tree, and caught up-close glimpses of bears and huge elk.
