The Shawnigan Sportsplex contained a glimpse of the future, as the School hosted the South Island Robotics Challenge last weekend.
113 visiting students stayed in Shawnigan dorms and classrooms for one of the first robotics competitions of the season.
As always, the tournament benefitted from countless hours of labour, from dozens of volunteers working at the event, to House Directors lodging guests, to the late-night sessions from the roboticists themselves.
Inside the ring, the duo of Colin W. and Stefan E. led the way for the host Shawkbots, as they overcame a slow start to ultimately reach the semifinals.
