Shawnigan Lake School is currently open and planning to host the SAT on:
Saturday, October 2nd
Due to current conditions, there may changes to our availability as a test site so please check the College Board and Shawnigan Lake School's websites up until the morning of the test.
All students writing the SAT at Shawnigan must follow the Covid guidelines as set out by the College Board and by Shawnigan Lake School.
Of particular note, test takers are required to wear a mask upon registration and throughout the testing (including breaks). Test takers who do not have a mask will not be admitted into the testing room. If test takers are not able to keep their mask on during the test and breaks, they will be asked to leave the testing site immediately.
Test takers will register for the SAT at our school gym using the West Gate (past the main gates of the school). In order to minimize movement on the campus, please arrive and exit following the directions on the map provided here. All drivers must drop off the test taker and leave campus immediately. Test takers are expected to be socially distanced while lined up to enter the test site, in break areas, and in the testing rooms. As the check-in will take longer than normal, we recommend that all test takers arrive at 7:30AM.
Note: that any students arriving after 8:00AM cannot be admitted into the testing room.
Thank you to all test takers and their families for doing your part to follow the guidelines.
