Bantam Prep vs. Edge
A five-game series at Shawnigan
A budding rivalry took a leap forward this weekend, as Shawnigan's Bantam Prep hockey team hosted Edge School for Athletics for an extended series.
The teams faced off five times in the span of 3 1/2 days, and all five contests turned out to be close.
Shawnigan earned a victory in the first matchup on Thursday, winning 6-4 thanks in part to a first period natural hat trick from Jacob F.
Edge would then hold on for four consecutive wins, with scorelines of 6-4, 3-2, 4-2, and 6-3.
Luciano W. led Shawnigan's offence, scoring a goal in all five outings.
