The Senior Girls Basketball Team has wrapped up a determined season of rebuilding and development.
Missing several key players, the squad dropped matchups against SMUS and Lambrick Park at this weekend's South Island Championship, to bring the season to a close.
Coach Darrin Austin says his group played strong defence in the tournament, but struggled to score baskets on offence.
Austin also singled out Grade 12 student Gaby M. for her tremendous rebounding and dominant play at both ends of the court.
