Lake's House

Lake's Chapel Presentation
On Saturday, Lake's Chapel presentation centred on growth. The journey that is made through Shawnigan, whether it starts from grade 8 or later, is complex and measured by change. One of the comments made by the Head of House was, "The journey has not been a smooth one, but one with many highs and lows. Through it all, we have stayed together ... You may hear us chanting 'Non Sibi Sed Aliis,' and really, what we are saying is, 'not for oneself, but for others.' That is the Lake's House motto, and those are the words by which we help each other grow."

One of the unique elements of this House presentation was the inclusion of a 2-D fine art performance. Seated behind the alter during the presentations, Peter W. created a work of art to present to the Headmaster. You can glimpse him drawing in the Chapel video below.
