Winter Athletic Colours

Honouring second term standouts

Shawnigan's Director of Sport recognized some of the School's finest athletes on Tuesday, with the presentation of second-term athletic colours.

Mr. Tim Murdy reminded the School that senior Colours are typically reserved for grade 12 students, who can earn double Colours for their second (or third) nomination.

Grade tens can be nominated for junior distinction for their first term sport, and earn a Colours pin for nominations in subsequent terms.

Shawnigan students earn sport colours by demonstrating skill, sportsmanship, leadership, and hard work in all areas of their chosen sport.
