Five Year Feast

A night to remember
One of the beacons lighting the way to graduation is the annual Five Year Dinner, a tradition that celebrates students who have spent all of their high school years at Shawnigan.

It was a beautiful spring evening yesterday as Kathini Lamont hosted 27 Grade 12 students for the special dinner on campus.

There will always be a special bond between these 27 students who have built and shared many Shawnigan memories together – from the first Grade 8 camping trip, to the final Inter-house Air Band competition this past December.

Throughout the evening, the students enjoyed a wonderful supper, heartfelt speeches from their advisors, a walk-down-memory-lane slideshow chronicling their time at Shawnigan, and a presentation of their exclusive five-year pins.
