Film Production Field Trip
Shawnigan students visit Hollywood North
Three Shawnigan film production students are seeing green after touring a pair of prestigious Vancouver film schools.
Kayden K., Byron C., and Freddy W. spent their Saturday on the road, beginning with a visit to the Vancouver Film School, which hosted production for recent blockbuster movies such as Deadpool, Planet of the Apes, and the most recent Superman picture.
They then toured Capilano University's new state-of-the-art facilities, which now boast more production output per student than any other post-secondary institute in North America.
As one of the foremost film-making destinations in North America, Vancouver ranks among the top choices for those interested in education and careers in the industry.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play.
