The kids camp is for children 6 and older, and is $20 per child.

There will be three kids camp sessions that, families can choose from (whether attending one or all, the cost remains $20 total).

    On-Campus Accommodation

For this inaugural event, we invite our alumni and their families to experience staying in Boarding Houses again! For a cost of $75 per person for the whole weekend, you can stay with classmates and other alumni in select dormitories.

Please note that these are student dormitories, and therefore will include single beds for all guests as well as the possibility of shared or communal washroom facilities.

Capacity for on-campus accommodation is limited, and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

    Off Campus Accommodation

Regardless of whether or not you stay on campus, you are welcome to participate in all weekend activities. CLICK HERE to view the Shawnigan corporate hotel rates which are valid for the weekend of July 15-17, 2022.
  • Transportation

For those alumni who are not staying on campus, we are pleased to offer (and recommend) our complimentary bus transportation between the School and Cowichan/Victoria.

The Malahat is one of the most treacherous highways in Western Canada, and is subject to heavy rain and dense fog. British Columbia has some of the strictest anti-drinking and driving laws in the country. Our goal is for all of our guests to have the safest and most enjoyable experience possible!

We will be offering a complimentary shuttle service to any of our recommended accommodations, with the schedule to be announced closer to the date.

  • FAQ

I only want to stay for one night, do I have to book for the whole weekend?
Whether you stay for one night or the whole weekend, on-campus accommodation costs $75 total. Even if you only plan to stay one night, please register through the form below; we will confirm in a subsequent email guests arrival/departure dates.

Can I choose which boarding house I can stay in?
We are currently offering on-campus accommodation in predetermined residences (Strathcona and Lonsdales) however this is subject to change and could expand depending on number of registrants.

    Are the boarding houses co-ed?
Yes. All guests will be sharing residences (including families and children) however we will work to keep specific graduation years grouped together in residences wherever possible.

Do I have to sign up for the entire weekend, or can I drop into say hi?
While you are not required to attend all events over the course of the weekend, each guest attending (regardless of participation in meals/activities) is required to register and pay the registration fee of $50, which covers all meals and activities for the weekend.

If I bring my children, are they required to join the Kids Camp on Saturday?
While the Kids Camp will be specifically designed for alumni children and therefore we strongly encourage all kids 6 and above to join, it is not mandatory for alumni children to attend. The majority of our alumni activities will be family-friendly and will be indicated as such. Please note: the Saturday evening reception is for adults only (19 years and older).

    What meals are included?

    • Dinner
    Saturday:
    • Breakfast
    • Lunch
    • Dinner (plus two drink tickets)
