Grade 11 - Lead

The Grade 11 experience at Shawnigan pushes students to lead themselves towards their post-secondary pursuits and begin to discover how they will lead their peers, and junior students at the school, through various opportunities.

Academic Excellence: As the academic challenge increases, students also take on academic leadership and peer support positions, as well as collaborative projects and specialist pursuits.

Co-curricular Distinction: Now Ski Week leaders, our Grade 11 students also make the shift from participant to leader in local and international EDGE service trips, while developing from novice to national and collegiate level in many sports.

Student Life Unparalleled: With the mentorship of their Grade 12 peers, our Grade 11 students now actively participate in Chapel as readers and performers, and are at the frontlines of developing and leading our distinct Inter-House competitions.
