Trip to Tofino
The E-Club is the latest Shawnigan group to enjoy a trip to the stunning west coast of Vancouver Island.

Leaving campus on Friday, the group headed for the Long Beach region of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve to set up camp.

“On Saturday, we went surfing on the beach for a couple of hours after taking a lesson. It was one of the most fun things I had ever done while camping,” shares Grade 9 student Matt H.

On Saturday afternoon, the group headed to the Kwisitis Visitor Centre at Wickaninnish Beach to learn more about the nature, wildlife, people and history of this iconic area.

After another evening of s’mores around the campfire, the group packed up on Sunday morning, bade farewell to the tranquility of the park and headed back to Shawnigan Lake.
