Robotics season begins
Shawnigan's home tournament approaches
The Shawnigan Robotics team is excited for upcoming competitions after some strong showings at the opening event of the season.
Twelve roboticists travelled to Alpha Secondary School in Burnaby last weekend, with all three teams qualifying for finals in their divisions.
Shawnigan's top team, comprised of Josh W., Hannah B., Makayla R., and Henry Y., qualified for the tournament semifinal.
The team is looking forward to Nov. 17, when the School will host the South Island Challenge in the Shawnigan Sportsplex.
Any community members interested in volunteering for the event are encouraged to contact Coach Nigel Mayes.
